Regular attendance and disciplined scheduling are essential for musical growth.

This Academic & Attendance Policy forms part of the Institute’s overall policy framework and applies to all enrolled students and parents.

1. Attendance

Students are expected to attend regularly and on time.

2. Late Entry

Late joining does not extend class duration.

3. Leave & Absence

  • Students must inform leave or cancellation at least 24 hours in advance through official Institute communication channels.

  • Failure to inform within the required time or absence without notice may result in the session being treated as completed without rescheduling.

  • For 60-minutes classes, if a student does not join within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time, the session will be treated as a no-show and will not be rescheduled.

  • For 30-minutes classes, if a student does not join within 5 minutes of the scheduled start time, the session will be treated as a no-show and will not be rescheduled.

  • Emergency leave must be communicated promptly through official communication channels. 

4. Approval Authority

All requests for leave, rescheduling, or schedule changes must be made only through the Institute’s official communication channels. Requests made through informal or unauthorized channels shall not be considered valid.

5. Learning Responsibility

Progress depends on:

  • Attendance

  • Practice

  • Active participation

6. Teacher Allocation

The Institute may assign substitute teachers when required.

7. Technical Responsibility

Students must ensure:

  • Stable internet
     

  • Proper device setup

8. Performance Disclaimer

The Institute does not guarantee specific outcomes.

9. Minor Responsibility

Parents/guardians are responsible for:

  • Supervision

  • Participation

  • Discipline compliance
